Steel Attack - Carpe DiEnd
Steel Attack is a heavy power metal band from Sweden. The band released their first demo ten years ago. With Carpe DiEnd they release their sixth full length album. The album is produced by Mike Wead (King Diamond).
I wouldn’t really call this a heavy power metal album. Therefore it simply lacks the tempo and pace of the riffs. It’s a pretty melodic album. There are some nice riffs on the album but it never really follows through. The thing that I did love on this album was the voice of Ronny Hamlin. He hits every note perfectly.
The most up tempo song on this album is probably ‘I Keep Falling’, which is a song somewhat to my liking. Unfortunately the rest of the songs are a dime a dozen, and couldn’t really impress me.
I’m not really impressed with this album, it feels like kissing your sister. She may be hot, but you know it’s not the way to go.
